DANCE OR DIE!
This project, DANCE OR DIE! explores a realm of media I have always been fascinated with – abstract horror. Emulating styles akin to classic cartoons of the early 20th century, DANCE OR DIE!
works to subvert the goofiness of Sunday morning cartoons, instead creating a piece of media you would find when nothing is on air. With this project being largely rotoscoped, the human-adjacent character dancing is meant to evoke a sense of hopelessness when placed in an infinite loop, amplified when introduced in an environment many people associate with comfort (ie. Cartoon Title Cards).

Fun fact: the dancer rotoscoped is a routine my younger sister performed a couple years back!
